Continue to scenic Halong Bay for a romantic overnight on cruise. Sail among beautiful limestone islands. Explore Hue and Hoi An are atmospheric port town and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit also the bustling Ho Chi Minh City and the Mekong Delta, a vast network of islands and waterways and cruising by private sampan (traditional boat) through the canals, visiting floating markets, fruit orchards and rural villages.

DAY 1 - Ha Noi Arrival

: Upon arrival you will be at Noi Bai international airport in Hanoi, welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel in the city center to check in. Relax after a long journey. Overnight in Hanoi. Optional Activity: Home hosted dinner. Instead of having dinner in a restaurant, now tourists can choose to visit a typical Hanoian family, enjoy the atmosphere of a Vietnamese traditional home, sample traditional Vietnamese food and get to know the culture of Hanoian people. Hanoi Home Visit is designed to give tourists an in-depth understanding of Hanoi culture and an authentic experience that could not be found alone. Pick up at your hotel & follow your local guide to transfer from hotel to hosted family by taxi or motorbike. Upon arrival, be warmly welcomed by your friendly hosts. Enjoy a cup of Vietnamese tea and get-to-know each other. Join the cooking process or observe the way the host makes dinner. Have dinner with the family. The host introduces about the history and meaning of the typical dishes. Enjoy tea and sweets or cakes. The host shows the family album and depicts the relationship between family members, show tourists around the house and also introduce about the ancestor worship tradition. Includes: Transportation (Car/minivan or motorbike), English speaking guide, home dinner with 01 soft drink, tea or coffee.

DAY 2 - Taste of Ha Noi

Today we will have the whole day to explore Vietnam’s capital city. 09:00am depart from your hotel. We first visit to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum from outside and his modest stilt house where he chose to live and work and also the museum dedicated to his memory. We continue visit to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam dating back to the 11th century. Nowadays, students come and pray for a good luck in their exam. Next, we will experience the Street Cuisine on foot. You will see other faces of local life in its most authenticity. We first take a walk in to the old quarter to discover the most charming area of the city to find out how local live by their traditional work generation by generation. Then, passing by road-side market where you can see many fresh herbs, local ingredients brought here since the very early morning by the farmers from out-skirt areas. Hanoi Street food tour is similar to a meal with appetizers, main course, deserts. You would be amazed by the tastes of the local cuisine. Owners of the food stall will be very helpful to tell you how they prepare the dishes. Your lunch today included some specials of Ha Noi such as Bun Cha, Banh Cuon or Pho (noodle soup). Don’t forget to take a seat on a small chair and try a glass of Bia Hoi – local draught beer at a small corner, and watch how the local life moving around you, and conclude what you have got after a great experience in a little Hanoi Old Quarter. Next, we hop on a traditional bicycle rickshaw move at leisure pace that’s perfect for photos and slow-moving sightseeing. Seat back and relax while your driver weaves through the busy streets, dodging speeding motorbikes and rolling past French colonial houses. As the local do, we sit down at a local café by the Joseph Church, enjoy a cup of ‘Tra Chanh’ – green tea with lemon and chat with the youth. Go back to your hotel afterward. Overnight at hotel in Ha Noi. (B, L)

DAY 3 - Ha Noi – Ha Long Bay

Overnight cruise, no private guide on board. Pick up by your local guide, depart from your Hotel for a three hour and a half transfer to Ha Long Bay – UNESCO World Natural Heritage – where thousands of spectacular limestone islets and grottoes rise from the clear emerald Gulf of Tonkin. Upon arrival, welcome drink on board prior to your check-in. Lunch with fresh sea food will be served while boat is cruising through many stone islets, floating villages, small beaches. Visit a floating fishing village, talk and meet with local villagers prior to some free time at your own on the sundeck. Dinner served on board. Overnight on board in Halong Bay. (B, L, D)

DAY 4 - Ha Long Bay- Fly To da Nang – Hoi An

Breakfast is served while we cruise around Ha Long Bay, passing by many islets named after their shapes. Stop for a while to explore one of the most beautiful ones of the bay. We then continue cruising towards the wharf. Ready to disembark at about 10.30AM. Your vehicle is ready to take you back to Hanoi and then straight to the airport for a flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our guide and transfer to Hoi An town. Check in your hotel and overnight in Hoi An. (B) Optional Activity: Visit Bat Trang Pottery Village after Ha Long Cruise Trip. On the back, take a stop at Bat Trang pottery village. Upon arrival, visit a local pagoda in the tranquil area the village. Meet with a master monk who will bless you with a Buddha Blessing Ceremony, and you will get to know about the daily life of the monks in Vietnam as such their stories. You can also take this chance to practice meditation with the monk to relax your mind. You will then be invited to join a simple vegan meal at the pagoda. Next, we walk around the village, stop to visit some workshops or individual factories and see how the local people produce their pottery products. The last visit is to the Ceramic market where plenty of pottery products are sold. Continue transferring to Noi Bai Airport for your flight to next destination. Includes: Transfer, tour guide, vegan meal, visiting free, offering and donation to the pagoda, bottled drinking water.

DAY 5 - Hoi An – Tra Que Organic Village

Leave your hotel, and on bike travel to local farm in Tra Que village. A short stroll will take you around the vegetable garden and then you can join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it with seaweed from the local lake. Activity includes raking the ground, sowing, watering, and picking vegetables and other gardening activities. After that, you will join the cooking demonstration with some local delicacies including ‘tam huu’ spring roll, Banh xeo or local pancakes. Enjoy your lunch at Tra Que Village. In the afternoon, explore Hoi An Ancient Town. Overnight in Hoi An. (B, L)

DAY 6 - Hoi An – Hue by Land

Take a land journey to Hue Imperial City via the cloudy Hai Van Pass. From the top of the cloudy Hai Van Pass, enjoy the central coast panoramic view. Upon arrival, take boat trip on Huong River, or better known as the perfume river. The boat drops us off at the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda which is also home to many young people that are seeking to live their lives as monks. Continue the boat trip to visit Minh Mang Tomb. Overnight in Hue. (B)

DAY 7 - Hue - Ho Chi Minh City by Flight

After breakfast, you are free at leisure till check-out. In the afternoon, visit Imperial Citadel of Hue – UNESCO World Cultural Heritage. After that, go to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Pick up by your local guide at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (B) Optional Activity: Cooking Class at Cat Tuong Zen House. “Cat Tuong Quan” is Vietnamese – Chinese and means “Good luck” in English. You have a chance to visit an architectural house of Hue, experiencing the traditional way of life and cuisine of Hue. 08h00: Greetings from Cat Tuong Quan. Explanation of “Nha Ruong”, a typical architectural house in Hue city and to the spiritual meaning of the Zen House complex. 08:30: Your host will guide you to make 2 vegetarian dishes from the set menu of 6. 10h30: You will learn how to fold the napkin and set up the table, Vietnamese’s style. 11h00: Guidance in how to meditate before, during the meal (10mins). Enjoy lunch. 12h00: Wash your hands with herbs and meditate after the meal. Time to relax. 12h30: Enjoy “Gao Lut” tea and dried Ginger, Hue style. Farewell from Cat Tuong Quan. Includes: Transfer, tour guide in your language, services at the Zen House, bottled drinking water.

DAY 8 - Ho Chi Minh City- Mekong Delta

The “rice bowl” of Vietnam, Mekong delta is carpeted with rice paddies, floating markets, crisscross rivers and canals. Ben Tre attracts visitors to its fresh-aired environment of large green coconut & fruits gardens. Experience the slow pace delta life, meet very friendly locals, feel the generous hospitality and blow away the stresses of modern-day life. After around 2.5 hours’ drive from busting Ho Chi Minh City, board a motorboat and visit a local Coconut Wholesale River Market. Observe lively activities of trading boats filled with coconut, coconut processing, and learn the difference between on-land and floating markets. You then have a short walk on the narrow village lane to a local family. Chat with them about their daily routine, culture and customs. Following is a rowing boat excursion through the crisscross canals. Lunch with Mekong specialties is served at our riverside restaurant. After a short break, the boat will take you to the pier where your driver will transfer you back to Ho Chi Minh City. (B, L)

DAY 9 - Ho Chi Minh City – City Tour

After breakfast, explore Ho Chi Minh City’s history starting with a visit to the War Remnants Museum - originally opened in September 1975, it displays old military equipment and other related items from Vietnam War. We continue to visit the Reunification Palace, former residence of the Indochina Governor General and late President of the Republic of Southern Vietnam until the fall of Saigon in Apr 30, 1975. Walk down to see Notre Dame Cathedral and General Post Office, both of which are beautiful examples of architecture from the French colonial period, with the last stop at the bustling Ben Thanh Market for shopping. Return to your hotel about noon time and rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. (B) Optional Activity: Saigon Street Eat by Scooter. Saigon is absolutely a fantastic place for your food adventure. The principal of Yin & Yang is applied in every single dish even street food or home cooked meal. “The balancing act between warming and cooling ingredients, between heavier meats and lighter rice-based carbs, fresh herbs to round out the taste, never get old”- written on Legal Nomads. This evening, your food adventure will include a ride through many small alleys and sample many different dishes. DAY 10 - . Ho Chi Minh City- Departure
